Country & payment-method limits

I changed my login email and now my OpenRouter account is limited — what happened to my credits?

This is reported as a sequence: the login email on the account is changed while an older wallet and a code-hosting login are still attached to it, a top-up goes through, and then the account is limited. Whether the email change is why it was limited is only OpenRouter's to say — account limits are their decision and the criteria are not published, so treat the sequence as what you can describe, not as a cause you can prove.

What is clear is that nothing on the payment side of this changes an account limit. Paying again is not a route back in, and a second payment made while the account is limited risks landing behind the same restriction.

The useful thing to hand support is the identity trail: the old login email, the new one, the date you changed it, every other identity still linked to the account, and the date and amount of the top-up. Put it in one ticket and reply to that ticket rather than opening more. ROZO cannot review or lift an account limit — that is entirely OpenRouter's. ROZO is independent and not affiliated with OpenRouter or Coinbase.

Steps to check

  1. Write down the old and the new login email and the date you changed it.
  2. List every other identity still linked to the account — an older wallet, a code-hosting login — and the date and amount of the top-up.
  3. Open one ticket with OpenRouter support containing all of it, and reply to that ticket instead of opening more.
  4. Do not top up again while the account is limited.

Frequently asked questions

Can ROZO restore access to a limited account?
No. Account limits are OpenRouter's decision, and we have no access to review or lift one.
Will paying from a different method or a different account help?
No. A limit sits on the account, not on the payment, so changing how you pay does not lift it.
