A gift card or redemption code that is refused when you try to redeem it sits entirely inside OpenRouter's own system. Issuing, validating and redeeming those codes is theirs — nobody outside it can validate a code, convert it, or move its value onto your balance.
The thing to avoid is turning one stuck purchase into two. Do not buy a replacement code or top up again to "work around" it while the first code's value is unresolved. Take it to OpenRouter support with the purchase receipt and the code reference, describe exactly what the redemption screen showed you, and keep that one ticket alive rather than opening new ones.
ROZO cannot help with this one: we settle OpenRouter payment links in crypto, and a gift card is not a payment link. ROZO is independent and not affiliated with OpenRouter or Coinbase.
